I am thrilled to be head of this outstanding school. LPGS is a forward-looking school with a strong sense of tradition. Our excellent reputation is due to a combination of high expectations and great teaching.

 

2012 has been an exciting year for us. We’re celebrating our best ever exam results, both at A Level and at GCSE. At GCSE, 94% of students have gained 5 or more A* - C grades; 82% have 5 or more including English and Maths. A third of all results are grades A* or A, and 17 students achieved all A* and A grades.

 

At A Level, 7.3% of our grades were at A* and 53% A* - B. Two of our students are going on to Oxford and Cambridge this year.

 

Our focus is on ensuring that all our students are empowered as learners and as the leaders and creators of tomorrow. We expect all of them to aim for the very best in everything they do.
